Biography

Dr. Nancy Chung grew up in Chicago, Illinois and currently lives in Bergen County with her husband, Ryan, and 14-year-old son, Sean. She graduated from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine and completed her training in the specialty of Pediatric Dentistry at the Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center where she served as a chief resident and later as an attending. She received the Richard C. Pugh Achievement Award for being in the top 3 % of the pediatric dental board examination, and she is a diplomate of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD). Her professional goal is to treat children coming to her office as her own and to help them learn the importance of good oral care. She emphasizes preventive care and provides minimally invasive techniques to help children maintain the best oral health. She understands the unique and different needs of each patient and tries to provide the best care. She also has a clinical privilege at Holy Name Medical Center to provide full mouth rehabilitation when needed. In her free time, she likes to bake sugar-free low carb cookies and cakes and tries to keep up with new children’s movies and trends to communicate better with her little patients.
